The thought of a vow renewal was always something that appealed to me. The idea of a second wedding to celebrate a milestone anniversary was something I knew I wanted to do.
Especially after our super budget wedding 10 years ago, I vowed I'd do things better when we got the chance.
The time has come and in a few short months, 8 to be exact, hubby and I will be celebrating big time with close family and friends at our 10 year renewal of our vows and marriage.
This is so much more than just a second wedding. It's more than just a day to party. With everything we've recently been through, this renewal is a celebration of our renewed love and commitment to each other. It's an opportunity for us to strengthen our bond, our union and our relationship. To let go of the past and move into this next chapter of our lives better than before. It's a chance at a new beginning. And I am excited for it.
To get things rolling, we picked and booked a venue and I boughtca dress. Things have just gotten real.

My dress. I am obsessed. I did not expect to fall in love with a fit and flare mermaid style wedding dress but it is perfection.

The kids even took the annual Christmas card photo by the tree, which we put up the day before. It was an anazing few days of epic celebrations.
