Celebrating Hubby's Birthday

 Hubby's birthday is always the first birthday of the year in our family, which is in January while the kids are on vacation from school. We usually head to the beach to celebrate but this year, we decided to stay closer to home with a family staycation.

Hubby picked his preferred destination, Aloft Hotel which is one of the many hotels in and around San Jose. Located in Lindora, a really upscale part of Santa Ana, near Escazu. 

We had a really chill birthday weekend getaway and it was such a nice change of pace from a beach trip. It only took us about 40 minutes to get to our hotel. And with it being right in Lindora, there was a mall right across the street and lots of restaurants to choose from.

All The Wedding Renewal Updates

 This is such an exciting time in my life right now because of our upcoming wedding renewal celebration. There is so much to do, but I've also gotten a lot done, like finally getting my second dress. 

We also picked out our linens and table setup along with our chairs. Plus, I was able to diy and send out save the dates to local guests and ilour invitations to my family. Planning a second wedding with so much hindsight is truly an enjoyable experience.
