Sunday Funday Plus Our Wedding PJs

 There are so many different ways to celebrate Sunday Funday, especially with family. On this particular Sunday Funday, we accompanied hubby to his soccer game at a massive park with a few different pools, water attractions, a restaurant, a zipline, BBQ and party areas and a waterfall. If I wasn't do sick, I would have thoroughly enjoyed the day.

On another note, I ordered my Bridal pjs to get ready in on the day of the vow renewal.  I also ordered my daughter's pajamas as well. I plan to order my sisters' their pajamas but wanted to get a feel for the quality of the material first. The pajamas are perfect, amazing quality and will look wonderful in photos.

Super Bowl Sunday And Date Day

 What a fun superbowl. We had the opportunity to celebrate with friends at a restaurant bar that not only showed the game in English but all the commercials too. That was super exciting. The crowd was fun, the food was good and the drinks were flowing

I also dragged hubby to a sales pitch meeting just so I could check out a restaurant I've been wanting to try for a while now. Plus, for showing up to the pitch meeting, regardless of the outcome, I would get a few free gift certificates to utilize at their restaurants and hotels. Win win in my book. We definitely could have spent our day differently but it really was just an excuse to get out the house.

Let's Celebrate Valentine's Day

 After over 24 years of being together, Valentine's Day doesn't really spark the same vibes like it does for new couples. It's definitely not just another day, as I'll take any chance to celebrate romance. But we don't celebrate in the typical way anymore.I don't need chocolates, as I buy myself my favorite treats all the time. I don't want flowers either. I'm not a flowers kind of girl to begin with plus they die so soon after. Waste of money to be honest

I'm more practical, I guess. Take me out to dinner, fill my belly and I am a happy girl. It's not the most romantic way to celebrate but being with the person I love and choose to spend the rest of my days with is romance enough. Plus, I like getting the kids in on the action and celebrating the day with them. It's a day to celebrate love in all forms with everyon, kids included. 

The Perfect Pair Of Shoes

 When it comes to shoes, my motto is you can never have enough. Whenever I have a special event, one of the first steps I take (pun intended) is inside a shoe store to find the perfect pair of shoes.

No matter how many pairs of shoes I have, a girl like me always wants one more pair. So of course, when it came time for me to find shoes for the vow renewal, I went on the hunt.

I went to a few stores in the mall but I knew if I went to my favorite shoe store, I would find something I like for the best price

I knew I wanted something sparkly,  something with a low heel, open toe with a bridal feel but great for everyday wear as well.

I didn't know if I would find what I was looking for but I did and I could not be happier. These shoes are perfect,  everything I wanted and more. And the best part was the price at less than $8, these shoes could not be beat.
