I do not need an excuse to celebrate small moments, so when my daughter suggested we should have a girls day to celebrate International Women's Day, I was on board immediately.
The hardest part of planning our little outing, was deciding where to go. We wanted to do brunch, so that helped to narrow down our options. However, we hit a tiny bump and had to rearrange our plans. Instead of brunch in Barrio Escalante, we had appetizers and "drinks" at Azaleas Cafe, a cute Instagram worthy restaurant giving Pinterest vibes.
I had wanted to check Azaleas out for a while, because the photos are the cutest. It's also in the very posh Los Yoses neighborhood, close to the San Pedro mall. The menu isn't massive, but they had a good variety and it was the perfect spot for our girls' day out.
