Time Is Racing By

 I blinked and March was over. I didn't even realize that March had ended and I'd only done one blog post for the entire month.

It's April 6th right now and I cannot believe how quickly time is passing us by. So let's catch up.

The biggest and most memorable moment from March was of course, without a doubt, my oldest son's 25th birthday. To me, it was a pretty huge moment and I wanted to celebrate him big. But all he wanted was to go out to eat and a battery powered razor to trim his beard. 

The fact that he has a face full of hair still blows my mind, because he's starting to look like a real adult instead of a teenager.  It's like he grew facial hair overnight.  

Since it was his special day, he picked out the restaurant,  Cheesus, a specialty burger place in Escazu. The food was pretty good, with everyone loving their meals. And the price was pretty reasonable considering the massive portions.

The strawberry milkshake was delicious 

The burgers came on a massive cutting board with onion rings, nachos and fries.

The portions were massive and well worth the price.

 

For me, the chicken and waffles were divine. Well seasoned, and cooked to perfection.  I was obsessed. 

They even included a free dessert for the birthday boy

My son requested an ice cream cake so after dinner,  when we'd all settled at home, we gathered together for one last celebratory moment, singing Happy Birthday to the birthday boy.
