The Barbie Movie And Parque Diversiones

Spending time with my kids brings me joy, it makes me happy.  As they get older,  I realize just how important it is to set time aside just for them. Time together gets harder as our kids grow up because they either want to be with their friends or be alone. So if my kids ask me to do something specific with them, if they actually want to spent time with me, I am all in.

The Barbie Movie was a huge moment in theaters so, of course, my daughter wanted to go see it. And who did she ask to go with her, me. While this is not a review of the movie, let's just say it was not what I was expecting and I was pleasantly surprised.  We both really enjoyed the movie, 2 thumbs up.

To keep the fun going, we decided to head to the amusement park and make a day out of it. It was a pretty great day. My nephews are still on their summer vacation, so I want to make sure we have a few fun activities planned for them to do. 

And to top the weekend off, we decided to try a Mexican spot named Ajua. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was pretty spot on.  It was definitely giving Mexico.

August Festivities

 August has come rushing in with such a force,  I might need to take a minute once the month is over to recuperate. 

Being "outside " has never been more true for me than the first few days to the start of the month. Birthday parties, family gatherings, and even TWO nights out in a row.  

Me being out in the streets on a Thursday night is a new concept, but to say I had fun is an understatement.  The next night, we celebrated our cousins birthday and stayed out until 3am, and I was surely lit. The entire night was such a vibe. I was on and off the dance floor, throwing back shots and just having the time of my life.
