Friend Refresh

Due to our ever increasing busy schedules and hectic lives, it had been some time since we had a friend meet-up.  It was time, and this go round, I offered our rancho area instead of the typical cafe or restaurant outing. It made for a more relaxed setting and offered a respite from the constant spending.

It was laid back, casual, and the perfect setting to refresh and reboot while catching up in real life. It was also a reminder of the importantance of maintaining good friendships, as it can be such a great gift for the soul.

Samara Beach Vacation

What an amazing trip. Even though we got off to a rocky start and it rained on and off the whole vacation, it was still one for the books.

First off, the trip was incredibly long as we had to take the ferry route due to the main bridge being closed. Secondly,  it rained so much on the way to Samara, the roads were flooded so badly in certain areas it looked as if we had to cross a mini lake.

However,  our trip turned out to be amazing non the less and the one absolutely gorgeous day in Playa Carillo made up for everything.

We loved our villa and Samara Pacific lodge never disappoints. There was good food, good vibes and good times in Samara and we look forward to going back...after the bridge is repaired, to avoid another 7 hour journey.

Beach Trip Loading...

Yay for vacay!!! It's been almost an entire year since we've been on a legit family beach vacation, and it is about time.

Kids have two weeks off from school and after senior picture day and a fun trampoline birthday party, I'm ready to soak up some sun, plant my feet into the sand and relax poolside with a cold alcoholic beverage.

To be fair, our quick beach trip for my daughter's birthday did quench the thirst for vacation just a tiny bit but one night away is never enough beach time. We craved so much more.

Fun trampoline party fit...

Senior pictures done...

Now playa Samara, here we come...
