Turkey Day Festivities

It was as it used to be, a house full of thankful guests and a table filled with a delicious and bountiful spread.  Thanksgiving was back and in full effect this year.  We celebrated the holiday with family and a few of their friends, spending hours chatting, laughing and stuffing our bellies.  It was the Thanksgiving of old, the way it should be surrounded by good food and good people. If last year taught us anything, it was the importance of spending time with family and close friends.  Too long we've all been too busy to participate in life.  We're too busy to attend birthday parties or weddings or even barbecues.  Life happens and we let it get in the way of actually living our lives.  Yes, we're all busy and yes, we all have more important things to do.  But making time to enjoy the little things is what makes life and enjoyable event.
