Yesterday at the kid's school, we celebrated family day. A day to celebrate family. It was no coincidence that it was also the day before Father's day.
As life continues onward towards normalcy, schools have become more comfortable hosting events that fall outside the academic spectrum. Fun activities for kids and parents to take part in.
There was a traditional breakfast followed by a few fun games and activities to get the whole family involved. There was some fierce albeit friendly competition between familial teams and classmates alike with a few good prizes at stake. All in all it was a wonderful way to spent a Saturday morning.
