As per tradition, the 1st day of Advent was celebrated by watching The Polar Express with our steaming cups of homemade hot chocolate, marshmallows and a peppermint candy cane. Then, to top off the night, the kids started their Christmas Advent calendar countdowns.
Making memories is important to me and keeping up with traditions keeps those memories alive. One day, my kids will pass these traditions on to their children, which makes my heart happy.
By sticking to simple traditions like these, it let's my kids know what's really important this Christmas season. It's all about quality family time
