I am that mom that wants to do all the fun festive things during the holiday season. If there is a festive event nearby I want to take the kids. Any chance for me to create those memorable moments and I am all about it. And this year is no exception. Pandemic or not, I am making the most out of Christmas.
We made rice krispies treats for the first time
We tried decorating gingerbread houses but alas...
Ended up decorating them as cookies instead.
And my 7 year old and I decorated ornaments together. These are the memories my kids and I will cherish for a lifetime.
So even though 2020 will go down in history as the year of the pandemic, we will have fond memories to take with us for the rest of our lives.
